Comfy clothes that you can move easily in. We don’t typically wear footwear but we do ask you to wear socks for hygiene reasons. The socks with the grippers on the bottom are ideal to help prevent feet sliding.
We ask all clients to bring their own hand towel with them to lay over the headlocks we use, for hygiene reasons.

Our group classes are mixed ability – we cater for beginners through to the more experience pilates people in the same group by keeping the class sizes fairly small, using experienced teachers and delivering the sessions in style that offer multi level of progression for each exercise we teach.
We do however, have a Basics workshop which we usually run once a month from our Horwich studio, This is a 2 hour workshop on a Saturday morning which is very helpful for people thinking of starting pilates.
Our group classes are mixed ability – we cater for beginners through to the more experience Pilates people. But our sessions are holistic and we aim to work the whole body, and use a variety of positions to do this. It’s important that you feel you are able to get down on to the floor and back up again without needing any physical assistance. If you struggle with this, then perhaps our 1:1 sessions will be a more appropriate way in to your Pilates journey. The 1:1 session are completely bespoke and so are adapted to suit your every need. We also exercise in kneeling – if you can do this but find it a bit awkward then please bring a kneeling pad / cushion / extra mat with you to allow you to do this with our too much discomfort. We do make every effort (with our experienced teachers and small class sizes) to offer alternatives or modifications to any positions or exercises that you feel you cannot or should not do. However if most exercises have to be adapted for you, then the 1:1 option would be more suitable.
Information about our venues can be found from the timetable when you click on class information.
